What We Believe at Ijeoma Ministries Intl.

At Ijeoma Ministries Intl., our foundation is rooted in the truth and power of God’s Word. We believe in the loving and eternal God who desires a close, personal relationship with each of us. Here’s what we hold true:

1. We Believe in the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit

Our God is one, but He exists in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. This is known as the Trinity. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, yet there is only one God. They work together in perfect harmony, sharing the same love, purpose, and nature.

• God the Father is our Creator and loving Father. He made us and all creation, and He desires for us to know and love Him. He is compassionate, wise, and kind, guiding and caring for us like a perfect parent.
  Scripture Reference: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." – Genesis 1:1

• God the Son, Jesus Christ is God who became human to save us from our sins. Jesus was born on earth, lived a perfect life, died on the cross, and rose from the dead. He is our Savior and our friend, showing us the way to live and giving us the gift of eternal life.
  Scripture Reference: "For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form." – Colossians 2:9

• God the Holy Spirit is God living in us, guiding, comforting, and strengthening us. The Holy Spirit helps us to understand God’s Word, teaches us to live like Jesus, and empowers us to fulfill God’s purpose for our lives.
  Scripture Reference: "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you." – John 14:26

Together, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit love us and work together as one God, so we can know Him and live in His love.

2. We Believe in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross for our sins and that, on the third day, He rose from the dead. His resurrection shows His power over sin and death, and it gives us the promise of eternal life. By His resurrection, we are assured that we, too, can have a new and everlasting life with Him.

• Scripture Reference: "He is not here; he has risen, just as he said." – Matthew 28:6

Because Jesus is alive, we can have a relationship with Him today and look forward to being with Him forever.

3. We Believe Jesus Christ is the Only Way, the Truth, and the Life

Jesus is the only way for us to be close to God and have eternal life. He told us that there is no other way to know God and receive His gift of salvation except through Him. Jesus is the truth – everything He says and teaches is real and can be trusted. And Jesus is the life – through Him, we find real joy, peace, and purpose.

• Scripture Reference: "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" – John 14:6

We believe that Jesus is the key to knowing God and that He offers salvation freely to anyone who believes and trusts in Him.
